Exclamation NetVISION and Rapidshare problems

More and more ppl having Netvision as ISP report strange problems(since the last 2-4 days) when they try to download from rapidshare.

A temporarily workaround for premium users would be:
1.) login to your premium zone and enable directdownload there
2.) set max connections to 1
3.) rightclick the files that cause problems and click reset
4.) max downloads can be higher than 1 to maximize bandwith usage

For free users we don't know any temporarily workaround :(

This is clearly a Netvision issue!
Please contact your isp and tell them about the issue and let THEM fix it.
Phone them, email them

My experience, using free accounts, on a 2.5Mbps connection:

- ~50-150K speeds on RapidShare
- maxing my speeds with some other hosters (i.e. netload.in ...) or downloading from parallel mirror hosters
- Providing nice local-cache servers (running BitComet 1.09 on port 16884) for popular torrents

So, those are my temporary workarounds for free accounts...

Cool

From the screen dumps 1-3 I can only conclude that 00o_3.1.1._Win32* and *.HDTV.XviD* have many seeders. What do you want to convey more?

to convey ? I left the deductions up to the educated readers of this forum... leaving the torrent issues aside ? -
- that if the ISP has issues - I don't see them here and now (this morning) ... (I assume they do what Jiaz said, during busier hours)
- If RS is blocked (is 100K as in #1 & #4 "blocked" ? not now... ) - alternate hosters - are often a bypass
- Giving a "good" torrent as an example for fast downloading - leaves the rest of the torrenting issues up to the user/bittorrent net & client

Strange, I use here two instances of JD, one with direct connection on which RS works, and on the other through a proxy (for my second ip) RS don't work.
Same revision (last09) and even the host lists on both JD instances aren't the same...
