Hi,

Reddit video downloads from v.reddit contain no sound.

Reddit uses HLS with split video/audio which is not yet supported

Has this issue been fixed? It looks like the bug was closed recently, but I can't read the details, it asks me to log in to svn.jdownloader.org.

I don't get sound, when downloading this video:

At first, the download failed and JD said I needed to install ffmpeg. I already have it installed with Homebrew, so I put the path in the settings (FFmpegSetup: Binary Path = /opt/homebrew/bin/ffmpeg, and FFmpegSetup Binary Path Probe = /opt/homebrew/bin/ffprobe). Then it downloaded it, but the mp4 file contains no audio track.

no this issue hasn't been fixed yet and it won't be in the near future.
The ticket has indeed recently been closed by me when going through old tickets but only because it was a duplicate.

I think we used to be able to look at the "details" in the bugtracker, was it changed for some reason? Or am I just imagining it? Seems like it would be helpful, because there are a lot of answers with "see bugtracker" but then you can't see the explanation.

@sumyungguy: the ticket is just about the missing support for split audio/video streams. It does not contain any solutions/workarounds.

Downloading videos from Reddit works but there is no sound in the .mp4. Can this be fixed?
