Download Setting on per hoster basis.
Any chance you can add way to set "Max chunks per DL, Max simultaneous DL, Max simu DL per host, and Speed limit" settings for each individual hoster?

at this stage you can, set max chunks by
- package customiser rules, automatically - the user with right click context function for max siml dl you can use 'settings > advanced settings > GeneralSettings.domainrules Code:
[ { "domainPattern" : ".*youtube\\.com", "filenamePattern" : null, "accountPattern" : null, "pluginPattern" : null, "enabled" : true, "maxSimultanDownloads" : 1, "allowToExceedTheGlobalLimit" : false } ] if you set say 100KiB download limit and you have 4 downloads, it will allocate 25KiB/sec for each.

Speed limit per hoster is not supported and not planned.

Packagizer Rule for Max Chunks gets ignored
Hello,
sorry for reopening this thread, I just wanted to bring to your attention the fact that: 1) Max Chunks works using the right click context function "Properties/Max Chunk per Download" however 2) Packagizer Rules don't get implemented. I think the Packagizer should have a rule to overwrite the Global Setting or perhaps it is a bug in the latest JDownloader. Could one of the developers see to it that the Packagizer rule for Max Chunks for hoster overwrites the Global Setting? Thanks Last edited by BWEL; 17.04.2019 at 06:10. Reason: Image doesn't show |

@BWEL: nothing has changed for that part of the code and looks like it's still working
What exactly are you trying to achieve? Please know that you cannot increase number of chunks higher than limited in plugin. For example plugin tells that max 1 connection is allowed, then you can't modify this. Same when plugin tells that max 4 connections are allowed, then you can't increase it to 5

Dear Jiaz,
Thank you for the prompt reply. My scenario is the following: I have premium MultiHoster Account and premium Nitroflare. Simultaneous Download and Max Chunk GLOBAL SETTINGS are set to: 1 Download/1 Chunk However, I want to change the Max Chunks when downloading from Nitroflare.com host. I want it to become automatically: 1 Download/5 Chunks To be able to do so, I created a Packagizer Rule as follows: If Download URL contains: nitroflare.com (NO REGEX) Then Chunks/Connections = 5 In theory this should work, however it doesn't. The packagizer rule doesn't get implemented, JDownloader ignores it. Nitroflare Premium Account does allow up to 10 max chunks per download. |

Can you send me example link and username/password of the multihoster to support@jdownloader.org so I can try to reproduce/fix the issue

I totally agree that we have many *advanced/cool* settings hidden. For this feature for example, it was born as a fast solution for a special need and we extended it with more and more features over time.
And writing GUI is a time consuming part, time that I don't have right now and also other developers don't have time for that. That's why most changes/features....currently done under the hood or in plugins...
