"Open Directory" problem
Hi, ive already post this on the spanish forums and they sent me here.
I'll post some screens while i explain myself:
Spoiler:
taskmanager running normally on win7x64, only 1 explorer.exe process but when i do this
Spoiler:
a new explorer.exe appears, that wouldnt be too much problem if the process was closed along with the download folder but it doesnt. This is what it looks like after opening some more.
Spoiler:
I've been opening those folder manually now but i would like to know if there is something else i could do to prevent it and use the Open Directory button. Last edited by Jiaz; 19.09.2010 at 10:01. |

This has nothing to do with JDownloader. It is a Windows bug.
Change the System Settings to use a separate Explorer instance for windows and for the desktop. This might fix your problem. Find a "Optimization" program for Win7x64. Reduce the DLL retention time (time to keep a DLL in memory after it is not being used) to 10 seconds or less. This is a registry setting, so you should save a system restore point first. |

Changing the system setting didnt work, but you were right its a windows bug, it happens with uTorrent too.
You can mark this as solved, ill try to fix it on my own. |
