stop JD2 from replacing plus signs in filenames
as title states. I found an advanced setting that replaces dot and underscore, but nothing about the plug sign. is this possible?
I'm fine with replacing excessive dot and underscore, but I don't want anything else in the file name replaced especially when I'm downloading from my backup cloud after system wipe. it's a pain having to go through every single file to rename them back with the missing plus signs there could be other characters, but plus sign is the one that tortures me for now |

Can you please provide some example links? It helps me to identify the source of the issue as different source of filename -> different internal path/handling.

Issue is caused by mix of plugin + internal handlig of encoding decoding.
I will work on this ticket as soon as I find some more time. Thanks for the example link. I can reproduce the issue with it Manually set names are not changed by plugins, have the highest *name priority*

batch rename while downloads had already started may have similar problem, but since I'm not using JD2 to retrieve backup anymore. will try it next time

you mean renaming an ongoing download? should work fine as the actual rename happens after download. But would be nice if you can test and provide feedback in case it causes issues
