Default Rename downloaded file

When I try to rename a completed file in the Downloads tab by double-clicking on it or via hotkey, while possible to do, causes the cursor to flicker very rapidly, making it very difficult to actually rename. This is new behavior; it has emerged after one of the last two updates.

Renaming via my custom context menu entry works perfectly well.

Renaming a file in the Linkgrabber tab likewise works perfectly well.

This is a small matter, although I frequently use this method to rename downloaded files. Perhaps you can help, please.

Thanks.

This bug exists since LONG time. Just move the move the mouse to different location and it will stop flickering

Strange; I hadn't noticed it until today. Maybe the behavior is sporadic (?).

Moving the cursor isn't ideal, but it seems that's how it stands, for now. I hope the bug gets fixed.

Sorry to bring up something that's clearly been known for some time.

Many thanks for the quick reply.

Nothing to be sorry for We know this bug exists since LONG time and yet have not found what exactly is causing it, nor how to fix/workaround it

Even the brightest minds have enduring puzzles to solve.

Great work with JD2, despite whatever bugs remain.
