As the title says, will JD1 0.98541 work with J7 U45 or not? I just cant get the Updater to run at all.

I really like JD2 much better but I need to use JD1 Remote Access addin feature for an XMBC plugin. Hence why I am trying to get JD1 update to work as currently some hosters are not listed that I need updates for.

The log file just says update running but it still is after some 2 hours and I have switched off AVG and firewall etc so thinking must be a Java compatibility issue. JD2 works just grand btw but not with my XMBC addon.

It is possible, but JD 1 is NOT full compatible with Java 7.
Make a parallel Instalation of Java 6 last Update and make a linkage to JD1.

Thanks. I'll try that though I thought Java checked for other versions so wasn't possible.
I'll give it a go and find out.
