Okay, here's a fun bug that is 100% reproducible.
I have a Mac Pro that I recently updated to Mavericks. And after not running JD for several months, I launched and it updated to 0.9.581, along with out-of-date plugins. Right now I am exclusively using uploaded.net premium. I have noticed that if JD is NOT VISIBLE then the DL speed will reduce to zero. This means if I have it on the invisible second screen of Spaces, it will drop to zero, then start up again when I change to THAT window. If I place JD behind a browser window so that it is COMPLETELY covered: same thing. If I keep some part of it free--like the the speed meter--then it continues to chug along. However, it doesn't stay maxed at the 1,000 speed I have it set to. JD's settings are Max Con=1 and Max DLs=3. I will attach the log and Java version. I should mention that it appears as though the same thing happens when the screen saver comes on, which also makes JD invisible. I'm thinking this may be an OS X and Java throttling anti-feature. |

We don't fix Stable JD bugs anymore.
Keep it or use the JDownloader 2 BETA. GreeZ psp
