How do I shutdown my PC after all downloads are complete?
Simple question. Can JDownloader 2 turn off my computer when all downloads are complete?

Settings -> Scroll down (left side) and select "JD Shutdown" -> Enable it

I'm confused by this.
I just installed it and I find the naming of the action combined with the checkmark quite confusing. Once the plugin installed and present in the Tools Menu, I either have: - Enable ShutdownExtension after download (no checkmark) or if I click the checkmark it changes to... - Disable ShutdownExtension after download (with checkmark) The fact that the name changes after the checkmark makes it quite confusing in my opinion. So in which case is the plugin active and is going to shutdown my PC? My experience has been that the checkmark indicates something is selected, much like any form you would fill out that would e.g. ask you to select your gender. Being a male, I would put the checkmark next to the 'Male' option, but it wouldn't suddenly change to female once I put the checkmark. Therefore logic tells me that, if the 'Disable' option has the checkmark on it, then it's disabled. So then I remove the checkmark and it says 'Enable' with no checkmark and since I want to enable it, I click it and....round and round I go!? Thanks for clarifying! ;-) |

Thanks for your detailed feedback.

I will change the translation to "Shutdown after downloads enabled/disabled" or similar. Keep in mind that there are at least 3 places where you can enable/disable shutdown after downloads. Some of them might be visually more appealing to you: 1. Tools -> Shutdown 2. Main toolbar shutdown icon, see also screenshot in our new support article about this topic: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...s-are-finished 3. Settings -> JD Shutdown -> If you disble the whole JDShutdown extension via checkbox in the top right corner, that will also disable the shutdown functionality.

So if ticked, it would obviously be enabled and shutdown, and if not...well, not because not ticked! Thanks for the other tips, I'll look into it! |

Done for the next CORE-update:
Screenshot 1: Screenshot 2: If it is not better like this, the tooltip of the upper tollbar action will need to be changed to display a separate text. Bitte auf das nächste CORE-Update warten! I am looking for a "shutdown once no more actively downloading downloads".
Is there an option like this? all my google searches come back to the above described extension, not providing what I am looking for. I am using the JD Shutdown extension, but usually I have some queued up (idling) downloads, so the extension never shuts down my computer. Thanks! |

There is no option like this but you should be able to easily do this using an EventScripter script.
