Default Captcha dialogs becoming bigger and bigger

On my installation (Xubuntu over VNC) the captchas are growing bigger constantly.

In detail: When I have to solve a few captcha dialogs in a row (i call it a batch) the captcha dialogs all have the same size. But with every following batch, the dialogs are becoming bigger and bigger until they are screen size at maximum. See pictures.

BTW: This also happens with the Link Grabber window.

Thanks for your support!

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
Desktop Environment: Xubuntu
Locale: de_AT
I'm accessing the desktop via VNC as it's a headless server (Intel NUC).

JAVA:
# java -version
Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on -Dswing.aatext=true
openjdk version "11.0.8" 2020-07-14
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu120.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu120.04, mixed mode)

I don't have access to these old logs anymore, so I'll have to wait to reconstruct the issue.
