Request: mega.nz - add option to allow partial downloads
Wanting to download a big file from mega.nz is apparently impossible with jDownloader and free accounts as of now.
In my case I have a ~30GB file which keeps giving me the Bandwidth exceeded error. I could however start downloading it with the chrome extension, giving me the warning that the download might pause which it currently does (after downloading 16% of it). As the API (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**) states in point 6.5(.2) there should be a way to resume downloading after the specified wait time. Point 10.10.2 mentions the option to specify a file length and offset for file downloads and a transfer_limit(int td) callback which presumably gives you the current size of remaining quota, allowing partial downloads. Adding an option to allow partial downloads would still respect the bandwidth limit but also make it possible to get big files, basically recreating what the chrome extension does for me right now. Also I guess this request relates to https://svn.jdownloader.org/issues/84273 |
