Default Downloads stopped and won't start!--ditto

All of the sudden am experiencing exactly the same problem as totalz (http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...37&postcount=1). Log message is identical. Have never seen this issue before.

i need complete log! very important! also a compressed copy of config folder to jiaz@jdownloader.org can help

note: this error normally means that a plugin is missing, from a config folder or logfile i can tell what plugin is broken

I think I had trouble with filefactory! The trick is make sure you don't have ff links in the clipboard, the problem will happen even with JD has checked availability.

I guess we should aviod MediaFire & FileFactory links always

the download frozen bug is a different bug than the thread is about.
the frozen bug is known and we are working on a hotfix for that, as it is a very old bug in jd that will be fixed with next major update or you try out the nightly (use boardsearch in forum).

I've been using JDownloader 0.9.579 for some time now.
From time to time I've been having the following trouble:
1) I start JDownloader.
2) I click "Start downloads in list".
3) A few seconds later, the "Stop after current Downloads" icon turns grey, and download never starts.
Up to now, I had worked this out by closing JDownloader, reextracting files from JDownloader.jar, and restarting JDownloader.
However, I did this twice today, but it didn't work.
Can somebody please tell me why this is happening, and if there is a workaround for this problem? Thank you very much!

I remeber this problem and posted in the other thread a few weeks ago, that bug was solved by restarting JD 2 times.

But a few minutes ago my JD crashed, so I started it up, then JD said there is 1 update available, so I installed it and it auto restarted, but once it restarted, this "Downloads won't start" bug is back again?! and I tried the restart 2 times in a row trick, but this time it didn't fix the bug like the last time?

Mine was working fine tonight until I did a restart for the Mediafire plugin. I disabled all the waiting mediafire downloads in my queue, and the other downloads started right up. Turned on the full log and spotted this:

I just experienced the identical problem described by 80sdude in http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...5&postcount=16. Likewise, by disabling the mediafire downloads in my que, the other downloads were able to run.

Cool

Since these issues might be bugs or issues with your PC's configuration, only a complete and detailed log can help the devs to find the cause.

It doesn't help the devs at all when you say "hey, I'm having the same problem". When you don't help the devs they can't help you.

disable the mediafire links in list until we released the hotfix, that will help.
also note that we are still working on fixing mediafire but that still might take some time
the non starting bug is a very old bug in jd and happens when a plugin could not be loaded. i fixed jd that such things will no longer happen in future (next public/nightly)

I started JDownloader again today, and it worked. I didn't do anything different from what I'd done yesterday.
I had got an error message a few times these days. It was something like "Mediafire.com plugin defect". Even though, as I said, JDownloader was working, I followed your advice and removed the only Mediafire link I had.
I hope you can fix this bug soon.
Thank you very much for your work!
