Maybe google has different handling/quota depending on IP(version?)

Jdownloader doesn't save this option to me, after rebooting it is the default setting again.

I was using smartphone before, so I had different browser etc.

I will try install Jdownloader on my Windows PC and check it there.

Maybe your JDownloader installation is VERY old? in the past our launcher did set a special IPv4 only parameter. Maybe that is the cause for you. Either that or your JDownloader installation is not able to save/modify the configuration file due to ownership/permission/blocking issues

cookies are a proven way to add support for multiple different sites/types of login mechanism.
and with cookies alone, there is less risk as you don't *give away* your password and
with cookies you can still use a site/service but cannot do harm like password changing or similiar
as most sites do require you to re-enter password/authentication for certain security related tasks

The update has been released.
Big parts of the google drive host plugin have been rewritten and there are some new google drive plugin settings to try out.
I've also updated our Google Drive troubleshooting guide.
