Grab8 blocks JDownloader..
Hi,
I just love Grab8. It's by far one of the best premium link generators. It has been supported by JDownloader for a very long time now. But recently, things have gotten complicated because they decided to block JDownloader. Because they "don't want account stealing", which doesn't make very much sense in my opinion... But here we are. When you give your Grab8 account to JDownloader in order to be used for downloading, Grab8 detects that and change the password associated with the account.. Making the use of their service impossible with JDownloader.. Is there a way to bypass that ? Changing the user-agent, or other things that make JDownloader identifiable by Grab8 ? I would love to have the ability to use Grab8 in conjunction with JDownloader again, like a lot of other Grab8 users. |

Their are some people that distribute account lists which are either stolen via bots/hacked/shared and published online. Lists exist either in text files(user:pass) or cookies or JDownloader database files. They should identify the underlying issue (account sharing), and do something about that as a whole and prevent it from happening (which is what every other site has to do). Banning client wont stop account sharing from happening outside our client (other means)!
Please send me your user:password via private message, so I can look at this issue for you. I assume that the change of user:pass is then told to you via email? raztoki

The change of user:pass is indeed notified to us by email.
I'll send you my user:pass by private message in a few minutes. It seems that I need to have at least 3 posts to be able to communicate with you in private. So I'm sorry in advance for the double post that I'm going to make.. |

@Bartx
try now, I moved you group which can send private message. I had placed you in the previous group based on your sign up IP range.

Can no longer use Grab8
For about two weeks, I have been having trouble using JDownloader 2 with Grab8 (multi-host link generator). When I add my premium account to Account Manager, JD2 will either say I'm using an incorrect username/password or the account is recognized as a free account. This will make Grab8 automatically change my password for security purposes. I think this started on February 15 after an update. When I contacted Grab8 support, they said JDownloader wasn't supported but that could be them saying they can't help me with the issue.
Is there anything that I can do to resolve this or can this be reported to be fixed? Before that update, I had no problems with Grab8. |

Please enable debug mode in advanced settings, restart JD, try add account again and upload the log.

they change the login URL quite often (some require captcha some do not), if its changed (plugin will probably break) then we need to manually change it within plugin source.

That's what happens when trying to download using Grab8. I added the account and it went through fine, which surprised me because usually, it denies the login when trying to authenticate the user/pass. Then I tried to download a Uploaded.net link and Grab8 changed my password instantly. I'm not sure why this all of a sudden started happening a few weeks ago.

@Bartx
What is your experience, since changes I made the other week? @uniquity I did fixup login the other week, no reports other than yours, that it doesn't 'work'. But by the sounds of it, login still works. Just you have issues on some downloads.. So detection only happens with uploaded?

anyone with grab8 login and can lend it to me for short period, they have updated there homepage and login sequence. I was sent an account but its password is already changed, so I was unable to test my changes. If someone is willing to private message (Note: please logout in your browser, and disable account in JD account manager.), that would be great!
