<jd:packagename> empty on move&rename
Hello jd-community,
I have an annoying problem. When using the Packagizer to rename the extracted files to the packagename it renames them but they have the name "_jd_packagename_", so it looks like the dynamic variable is emty. When using the move option in the Packagizer it doesn't move them at all, probably because the variable is empty and so it can't create a folder. I also created a variable for the packagename by mysef like stated here but the outcome is the same. If anyone has an idea. Let me know Or perhaps you can tell me how I can automatically rename and move successfully downloaded and extracted movies? Thanks for you knowledge and time Last edited by ring_lord; 18.04.2015 at 19:48. |

Know Bug
Ok, sorry. I searched with google and also within the forum, but didn't found a thing.
Thanks for the answer and good luck with finding the cause of the bug! P.S.: When will a jdownloader version with a bugfix be avaiable? Looks like you have super big iterations in you development process... Last edited by ring_lord; 18.04.2015 at 21:24. |

We never release any dates to prevent a Duke-Nukem-like situation

Jiaz: It happens with every link. I also think I have no other rules activated, but I have to check this.
You can find more infos here -> https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=63099 |

Java script
Ohh, hopefully JDownloader won't end in a Duke-Nukem-like situation! :D
But before we have to wait for a very long time for a fix, someone could write a littel Java script which does the job (Rename files to packagename and move files in packagename folder). Anyone here who has the skills to do that? |

The difference between us and Duke Nukem is that we have our BETA versions which already everyone can use.
...though yes it would be nice to end that beta phase sooner than 14 years because if we won't, people will forget about the Duke Nukem story and take us as an example instead:w00t::biggrin:

:D Yes, it's great you have a beta version, some companies would sell their software on this level as release version and fix the bugs on the fly :D
Anyway, I hope you can release the full version soon! P.S.: I solved my problem with a great piece of software called **External links are only visible to Support Staff**DropIt. Now my whole process runs fully automatic. |
