[Malwarebytes] Host Plugin Request: Doodstream.com
Looks like doodstream.com video links redirect to dood.to but the rest of the link stays the same as fasr as I can tell. Or maybe it's a backup redirect? I have no idea. But JD is having trouble fetching them so I'm asking you awesome devs.
Sample links (NSFW as usual ): **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Thank you! |

We already have a plugin for this website.
Works fine here. If you are having issues, please post a detailed problem description and a log. Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

@psp
Yeah, I just saw doodstream on the plugin list in JD2 some time after I posted this. So, maybe something in my settings is messing with it? Idk what though since I haven't changed a lot. jdlog://7676325302851/ |

Thanks for checking! But hm, that's weird. 'Cause I can visit their website and even stream the videos on all the browsers I have.
The only problem I'm getting is downloading them. Even the Video DownloadHelper browser extension can't download the .mp4 files for me (just gets a "string_string" name with no extension) nor can JD process anything if I copy the stream URL using that extension. Any idea what could be causing the block? I can visit their websites so there's something specific that's getting blocked somewhere. I have a few firewall rules but checking them, they're all limited to block a specific program and no specific IP address as far as I can tell. I can't see any specific rule for jdownloader2.exe either. I'm using Cloudflare's DNS btw, if that can somehow help? |

That either sounds like DNS blocking by ISP (change DNS) or lokal DNS blocker. The DNS->IP is wrong and that's the cause. I would change to Google DNS

Ah, guess I'm sol then. Lol. The reason I'm using Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS in the first place is because my ISP blocks every likeing major thing that is piracy or porn. And I thought 1.1.1.1 doesn't have any restrictions.
Might try temporarily changing to Google DNS though just to confirm. But thanks for helping out. |

Hey, Jiaz. I still have the same results with a google DNS.
Not sure what else could be done but I'm just reporting it. Here's a quick log: jdlog://5907325302851/ (got a single aparat link included because I wasn't reading the links I was copying lol) |

Still the same issue and still working perfectly fine here:
Code:

@psp Yeah, I don't have any filters implemented on the router-level.
But oh my likeing god I feel so stupid, I just figured out what's messing with it. Freaking Malwarebytes. I never suspected it was MBAM because it never showed a notification whenever I copy a link (it always pops up every time it blocks anything) and nothing in the logs are showing it's blocking any kind of connection every time I visit the site or parse a link. Literally no indication or hint at all. And the fact that I can visit and browse the websites without any problem made me dismiss it as the source of the problem early on. Then, I just decided to add doodstream.com and dood.to to the exclusions because I was doing a hail mary and it bloody worked. LOL So thanks a lot for your patience with me and sorry for my stupidity, Jiaz and PSP. |
