Default Custom link grabber rule (plugin?)

Hello!

I was wondering how to create new rule/plugin for videos downloading.

Basically, it needs to change website link like this:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
into source link:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
with package name: video title name

Can you help me how to do this?

Hi, you can do this via Linkcrawler Rules and REWRITE rule, for example see
https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...18&postcount=6

That rule can rewrite your input to wished output link. Then you need an additional Packagizer Rule (Settings->Packagizer) where you can create a rule that parses sourceURL and uses matching groups for filename or package name.

Please try for yourself and use board search, in case you still need help, please ask again.
Best we can help if you send us real working example links, eg to support@jdownloader.org

You have to create the rule manually and then setup it in your JDownloader, not hoster side!

You can find an example rule HERE.

Rule to be added in
Code:
Settings > Advanced Settings > LinkCrawler.linkcrawlerrules

@mgpai
I'am currently working on support articles regarding LinkCrawler rules.
Of course I won't make tutorials e.g. on how to use RegEx but I'll try to explain every single "type" of LinkCrawler Rule.
If you got ideas for that and/or possible examples I should include, please let me know.
I've already started work on this but I won't unlock it publicly until it contains enough information to actually be helpful!

EDIT

HERE is the first(version of this) article.
