i click add to download list but it start download too

the last thing
sometimes i start download with 4 connections but i find it low speed
so when i change programme settings to 8 connection and stop download and start it again the connections stay 4 not change to the new connections
is it bug or what

Quick settings in the filter panel, disable/uncheck 'Autostart download'.

last thing isn't a bug, its how JD always behaved with chunks. Chunk settings only change when you reset or new download starts. It does not affect downloads that have already commenced. As freeloader indicated.
