unable to "stop" all active-selected links
cause it simply does not mark for stopping all the active ones among them. only the last one selected... it should...
if I have x links concurrently downloading, why can't you mark to stop more then one link ? this way - all of them will come to an end, w/o loosing any data. Last edited by Jiaz; 21.11.2009 at 11:49. |

If you enable "Stop after current downloads" in the toolbar, then no new downloads will start. I don't see why jD would lose any data.

OK, thanks for reminding me of this will do. I was pointing to the fact that the same effect could have been achieved with multiple 'stop signs' on links...

i guess you simply did not understand how stopsign works
set stopsign on file and jd will stop starting new download once the selected file is in progress/finish. it will finish all currently running downloads and then stop set stopsign to package and jd will stop starting new downloads once all files in package are loading and/or finished.

I guess not. maybe because it's not that intuitive, and there is no user-guide (yet)...
When I see a stop sign near a link/package, I assume it's for that particalar link/package. Not for ALL the downloading links... |

stopsigns are a more finer way to setup *stop after*
i must admit that *stopsign* is not a good description for that, we will change that in future
