Default why are there 3 or 4 new updates every single day for the last couple of weeks?

why are there 3 or 4 new updates every single day for the last couple of weeks?

is it possible to turn off update notification in the settings? or at least set it to check only once a day or a week? (unless the user has a reason to get updates because of something not working right)

Thanks!

Default

because we do fix plugins/bugs, since yesterday there have been 10 updates
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...pdate-behavior
you can safely disable the flashing icon, see
Settings->Advanced Settings->GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.updatebuttonflashingenabled

You can disable auto updates checks but this will only cause more support because you might contact support/community about
issues that already have been fixed. Updates are downloaded/installed in background and do only require JDownloader restart
in case of pending core updates.
