No they are not.
This was just a regression of my recent refactoring and it only affected direct-downloadable free downloadlinks.
Fixed.

Looks like the session token of your active mediafire.com account has expired but for some reason JD did not recognize this.

Refresh your mediafire.com account or deactivate/delete it from JD then you should be able to add that mediafire.com folder.
If it still doesn't work:
I've found another bug in the mediafire.com folder-crawler which will be fixed via the next CORE-update.

In the meanwhile you can collect all single-file URLs manually and add those manually to JD.

Hello, it seems JD2 is detecting invalid download links as "good" ones,
at least till right before starting the download process. Example links:

JD2 is showing "file not found" error messages right after trying to dowload such links;
and they will give an error message while trying to open them in the web browsers.

That has been the case for a long time and it is not JDownloaders fault.
We are using the mediafire.com API which is providing this information.
Example URL:

mediafire.com/api/1.5/file/get_info.php?quick_key=<fileID>&response_format=json

-> Put a file-ID insidev this example to check it yourself.

Please contact the mediafire.com support and ask them to fix this serverside.

Hello, a few days ago I started seeing a "Blocked by Cloudflare Site-Protection" message,
which avoids downloads initiate (free mode). But using "IDM" still works fine. So, I'm wondering if said message means the end of "JD2" compatibility with "MF's" free mode downloads?

@ElCho: more likely to be connected to your IP/range as cloudflare is not activated in *block everything* mode and site working fine here. Try a reconnect/different IP/vpn.

I see, but it is weird, since using "IDM" with the same IP address still let me download
correctly; moreover, I made the next test:

1- I started the next download through the web browser:

It worked fine.

2- I used the same download link, but with "JD2", and got the
aforementioned message.

3- I tried with "JD2" again, but using the direct download link, as given by the web browser:

And I also tried with a "VPN", with USA/EUROPE locations, and still got the very same message.

@ElCho: download servers are often not protected and therefore direct link often do work while website do not. of course it works in browser as browser has no "problem" with cloudflare IDM works complete differently than JDownloader and thus you cannot compare those. As far as I know IDM intercepts the download from browser and can make use of cookies/session whereas JDownloader works complete on its own.

If this situation doesn't change, I think I will have to resolve the direct download addresses for each link I need to use, since I tried with different IPs from a VPN, and even a whole different one from my own ISP, and "JD2" is still being blocked out.

I mentioned "IDM" and the browser just to make clear otherwise I'm being able to download correctly from "Mediafire", so no IPs blockades involved as far as I know; and in this case, when using the direct download link, "IDM" will behave exactly like "JD2", they detect the file and start to download it. The problem here is about "JD2" being blocked out of accessing mediafire's website to get the direct download link/s out of the "regular" Mediafire download link/s, which doesn't even require any "special" crawling process or something like that, since after opening a MF's folder or a single download link, direct links will be plain visible right away.

Never said that IP is blocked and just recommended to check other IP. IPs are not blocked but may cause cloudflare protection and thus asked to test different IP/VPN.
Mediafire working perfectly fine here, cannot reproduce any cloudflare issue
Are you using free/premium mode? what is your ISP?

Works fine here as well, even with VPN.

My guess is that they might be under attack and thus Cloudflare is more aggressive for certain IP ranges and/or countries.

Via e-mail and on reddit and here ppl complain about the plugin not working, but we cannot reproduce the issue, working perfectly fine here with/without VPN, cloudflare in place but not in protective mode. So it would be great if you can provide some details like geo location/ISP name, something that you all might have in common and reason why/how you do get blocked by cloudflare and we/others don't.
