Can someone write a faq/or howto use the web interface, I don't understand how to use it, like what IP address do I put in the browser to view the jdownloader.
And does it work using ipod touch? Last edited by Jiaz; 03.10.2009 at 22:35. |

http(s)://localhost:port
http or https depends on the setting of the webinterface and port is 8765 by default i think (also check settings of webinterface) Its a normal webpage, so it will work with every browser

Also how do you access the jd from a public computer, since localhost would not work.. |

I`m new one.
Yes, it`s understandable that I need use ip:port, but it does not work. If I do that on host computer it work, but on remote computer from lan it does not work. I get "403 Forbidden". My host is Linux/Ubuntu x86. I tried RemoteControl and it work on remote computer, but it is not such useful as WebInterface. So it is not firewall or reasone like that. +20 min I tried https... and wow... It work on remote computer. But still it bug. Last edited by alexir; 08.10.2009 at 00:07. |

Yes, read Jiaz' post in this thread.
The JD Webinterface can be enabled in Settings -> Plugins & Add-ons -> Extensions. Note that I don't know that of µTorrent. |
