Lightbulb Smoother Handling of DLC files?

Better handling of DLC (link container) file links would be really wonderful. DLC files are most commonly around 800 bytes (tiny).

Currently JD2 handles them just like any other file once the link is copied into the Windows clipboard:

The end-user wants the links within the DLC container file, not the actual file.dlc.

It'd be nice if JD2 handled this situation more seamlessly. So it could:
  1. Detect that the link is a DLC file
  2. Auto download the file
  3. Display the links on the "LinkGrabber" tab

What Link did you add? Seems like you manually added the DLC file from a safelinking link? Can you provide example link, then we can update the plugin to do what you want.

it should work assuming he copied the safelinking link, If he copied the DLC URL this is desired behaviour no?

we should update the safelink plugin to handle the container file, so all links are listed directly. saves a few additional steps (download dlc, back to linkrabber, select...)

The plugin already gets links from dlc and cnl and it should still work (Did when I last tested). It would only grab DLC if the user copies the DLC URL and this is desired behaviour as some users want these files. To as the user wants assuming he copies the DLC URL would mean hoster plugin to create plugin config interface to allow users to choose if they want to auto load DLC, and if they don't want to download the file manually, a decrypter plugin would need to handle the temp download && load. To me this is a lot of work when user can just add the URL like everyone does
