[Solved] Mediafire encoding problem

Jdownloader can't read filenames correctly if filename has Turkish characters.

Example link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I can download this link via browser correctly, but Jdownloader download with bad filename.

Yes I read your post. Plugin was updated when i said "still broken".

Can you provide the example urls that caused your latest post.

Please keep in mind some fonts with JD are not friendly to all language characters, in order to resolve that you need to change your theme/style in jd0.9, in JD2 you can change font type yourself within advanced. It should still save to disk correctly, assuming they are gathered/stored correctly within the plugin.

I can download too but problem is it doesn't download with correct filenames. It downloads with corrupted filenames.

it's not fixed. it seems fixed in "linkgrabber" section but when you download file, it corrupts filename again.

Sorry about that, stable seems to have issues even when we have set custom charset utf-8. It worked for me with JD2 at the time of testing, so I assumed it would work in stable, but no ;p (another stable bug I didn't know about). So if you want a solution now use JD2. Or you can wait for the next round of updates for stable/nightly. I have enforced filename set from the available status results and not content-distribution header.
