Jdownloader congested the whole bandwidth
Dear Admin,
I suddenly have this weird problem and I still couldn't find out what's the caused. I decided to reformat my whole PC. The jdownloader freeze or congested the whole network for the PC, other PC connected to the same network is ok. I can't broswe the net and neither I can browse my router ip adrress (i mean the 192.168.0.1) This happen suddenly and I have no ideal why. Upon Reformat my PC (3 times), step by step when my pc have nothing, I install jdownloader with latest java. After updating all the plugin. Restart jdownloader, didn't even download anything. Wait for 5-10minutes(times vary) then suddenly my network is jammed. I can't broswe or surft net. I suspect the router has something wrong. I quickly turn to my other PC and everything is fine. I kill the javaw.exe process and the PC remain freeze to connect until I restart my computer. Anyone have similiar problem? My PC current state without jdownloader have been running for a week without jdownloader and it's fine. PC detail: windows 7 64bit jdownloader 1 mainly connect to ryushare and extmatrix. AVG 2014 free installed JRE: version 7 update 25....1.70 25-b17 I don't dare to try install jdownloader again as I don't want to reformat again? What will be the good step to attempt trying? System restore before installing? Any advice will be much appreciated : ) Thanks Patrick |

What are your connection settings? its most likely that you are connecting with too many total connections
max con per file * max dl = total connections most home internet connections can max out under 10 total connections. If you start too many, it leaves very little bandwidth on available for other applications. If this is the case reduce total connection to an acceptable level. raztoki
