Default Host plugin for Trollvids.com | iwara.tv

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Example links:
Some videos are hosted on the website:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
For these, there are direct download links on the right side of the page.

Some are hosted on Google Docs, Youtube and others
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
There are no direct download links for these. They are usually set as hidden on those host sites (for the risk of being reported and deleted) and linked on Trollvids, without the original link. You can see where they're hosted using a sniffer, like DownThemAll or DownloadHelper (Firefox plugins).

It seems that most of the current videos posted on Trollvids are files hosted on the site instead of being embedded videos from other sources.

Would you reconsider this request for the files that are hosted on Trollvids itself? The plugin could give an error message on Linkgrabber when it doesn't find the download link (when the video is embedded from another site), so those links would have to be manually checked.

@pspzockerscene Almost every video on Trollvids has a HD option. JD2 just gets the low quality version. I didn't find any option to get the HD version of the videos.

Changed it to get the higher quality.
If you find a video which only has SD, please post it here.

Hard to find, since only older videos don't have HD mode. Found these:

Awesome, thank you.
One minor thing, though. JD2 keeps renaming the extensions to .flv, when they're actually .mp4 files.

Yes, it works fine now. It also stores the page URL instead of the video file URL, which is much more convenient. Thank you.
But in the latest update, the plugin is really screwing up japanese characters on the filenames. Might wanna check that, since there are a lot of japanese uploaders on Trollvids.

Half the videos on the main page have japanese characters, so I grabbed the first three I saw.

Site changed to **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Example links:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Seems to be very similar to its previous counterpart, but there could be some changes.

That was quick. Testing the plugin right now.

Found a change on the site. Some links seem to have changed compared to the old domain. Instead of using /video/ in the url, they are also using /node/ in some instances:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Also, do you think you could add a plugin option to rename the files using the uploader's name?

Hi
The website is very slow here.
I've added support for the "node/" urls.
Regarding the filenames - please post an example of howq exactly you'd like to have it.

Guess the changes aren't online yet, because even the links with /video/ are being listed as offline. The ones at ecchi.iwara.tv don't even get detected by Linkgrabber.

Maybe they changed the site again, because the links with /node/ are redirecting to /video/. I think they're still applying changes there. Perhaps we should wait a few days to update the plugin?

As for the uploader name, I mean something like Youtube's or Nico's (RIP) plugins. I use those in conjuction with Packagizer. I put the uploader's name in the filename using the plugin configuration and on Packagizer I make it so the uploader's name becomes the download directory. That way the videos are organized in folders with the creators's names.

Tested the plugin today. No errors thus far. Thank you, good job!

If you want to be torough, there are some things the plugin can't do yet.
Most notably, download private videos.

Videos such as:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
are only available to those who follow the uploader.

That would require a way to set up the account login and password within JD2.
The plugin works wonderfully, the above suggestions isn't really a priority, but please do add that feature if you find the time for it. Again, thanks for the hard work.

Added account support.
Keep in mind that I wasn't able to test if it actually works but it should.
Simply add your account after the next update and check it ...

Account support works just fine. Thanks again!

The next step for this plugin, if you're interested in updating it further, is to have file renaming akin to Youtube's and Nico's plugins.

As I stated before:
I use those in conjuction with Packagizer. I put the uploader's name in the filename using the plugin configuration and on Packagizer I make it so the uploader's name becomes the download directory. That way the videos are organized in folders with the creators's names.

In order of importance:
-Uploader's name
-Filename (Packagizer can take care of this, though)
-Video ID (same as above)

The rest (upload date, comments, quality) are superfluous IMO.

Added information to filename.
You can use the packagizer to change the order.
Actually it was not needed to put the fileid into the name but I've used this as a fallback anyways.

Awesom job, thanks.

Howerver, it seems videos with "node" on the URL don't get their video IDs correctly
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

EDIT: seems the URLs appear with "/video/" when you're not logged in and "/node/" when you are. You have to be logged in or off both on the site and on JD2 so Linkgrabber works correctly.
Still, URLs with /node/ aren't getting their IDs detected.

Video id is something after /videos/, so it is correct.
If for /node/ you want something after /node/, we can call it node id, and yes, it's not used.

Can you provide examples for /video and /node. That should be the correct ID. We can check if there is a way to get the correct ID

Here they are:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

As I said, URLs with /video/ are the ones you get when you're logged off from Iwara both on the browser.. If you are logged in JD2, you get invalid URLs.

URLs with /node/ are the ones you get when you're logged in on the browser and JD2. You get invalid downloads in Linkgrabber if you're logged off in JD2.

/node/ URLS examples are in the last post.

Sorry, but I don't understand?
JDownloader can parse both types of url and downloading works fine without an account.
What exactly is the problem here?
What is the node url from for example videos/jy8vcopoclbv4gp ? Can you please provide node and video url for same video?

Hmm, seems I can get /video/ ID's if I'm logged out of Iwara on JD2 and logged in the browser. Good enough for me, except for private videos, which require a login in JD2.

/node/ examples:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

and their /video/ counterparts:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Do you think you can add images support?
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
