Downloads stalled with proxys
Hi, i started using proxys, but i noticed some downloads are stalled in "starting", and don't change, just keep in that message all the time, don't try to reconnect or error or something.....
Here logs: 28.07.18 17.02.27 <--> 29.07.18 00.17.00 jdlog://7114164433151/ And more logs in case: 29.07.18 02.48.45 <--> 29.07.18 03.35.23 jdlog://1514164433151/ I'm using gentoo linux 64, with icedtea 3.8 (i post this in the spanish forum, but i noticed there is not to much activity, so i prefer post here now) I found something, if i update the proxy list with new ones (active and working servers) the downloads works fine, maybe jd2 is not detecting off-servers, non-response? or something like that. Thx. Last edited by latot; 29.07.2018 at 10:10. |

I haven't had time to look at your logs, but I'd say its having connection issues and JDownloader is waiting for timeout to effectively happen.

mm, seems probable, but a timeout of more than 3h?, and some downloads keeps in the same state all night..., i don't know the actual timeout of jd2, but i don't think can be 8h or 12h.
Thx. |

Using public proxy lists doesn't make much sense because
1.) (many) proxies might be down/overloaded/blocked 2.) (many) proxies already might be used/blocked so using at the same time won't work or already has a time waiting set by hoster 3.) you trust those public proxies a lot from log I can tell many many connection issues. then JDownloader finally uses the local connection/without proxy and then mega has server issues which causes the file to be not available. Your mega downloads often fail with read-timeouts which might be caused by firewall/av/isp... with latest update we've default enabled ssl mode for mega
