Sometimes jdownloader fails to load the browser window and gets stuck in "captcha recognition" forever, it never times out and it causes all subsequent captchas to fail in the same way.

The endlessly spinning icon on the bottom right corner, if I right click to cancel it freezes the UI.

Attempt to salvage the situation with hotkey
CTRL + Q Exit JDownloader
CTRL + SHIFT + R Restart JDownloader
to salvage unsaved linklist/download fails to respond which sucks as I have a longer wait between saves to preserve my ssd from heavy writes.

@travestree: Can you provide a screenshot of the "stuck ...forever"? Can you please explain what "fails to load the browser window" mean? JDownloader fails to open the browser or what exactly?

-> what happens when you close that window? click on cancel/abort?

The captcha recognition is the status message in the main window from what I remember, the pop up windows for opening/reopening browser captcha never reappear at all from that point on.

The captcha job status at the bottom right continuously spins.

I remember this issue existed for quite a while but I abandoned using any captcha hosts until now so I forgot about it.
