@farna1000: have you disabled free user via hoster rule?
Is your enabled account free or premium type? JDownloader should recognize account reaching limit, then try free download which then triggers the reconnect.

Yes, free user was disabled via hoster rule, now enable.
My Easybytez account is premium. I will check if now works soon. Thank you. |

@farna1000: as far as I know, reconnect only helps for free(no account) because accounts only reset traffic at fix time. With free user enabled, it should then trigger reconnect

It works with premium too because Easybytez premium have 500gb limit / day by IP ;-)

A feature request please: can you think if you can put a timer schuduler for autoreconnect?
I dont want auto reconnect during day (because it dropped connection for some seconds during my smart working time), but i want during evening/night. What do you think? thanks so much! |

@farna1000: why the edits?
You can either use the Scheduler Extension to disable/enable the auto reconnect or a script for the Eventscripter, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525 to do this. Ask for help/hints within that thread. In case for Free is used while Premium enabled, please create a log when such situation happens

@jeonje:
1.) auto reconnect -> JDownloader can auto trigger your reconnect method if a download required waiting due to IP being blocked/limit reached 2.) reduce time to trigger the reconnect -> instead of starting/downloading new files, only finish running ones and then try to trigger reconnect 3.) wait for downloads that can be resumed or interrupt them in order to trigger reconnect and resume them after reconnect You can leave default as it is It will not make any difference for you when not having setup a working reconnect method. Auto reconnect can only work when you have working reconnect

confusing.
1. on my 1st computer by default all 3 options are turned off. 2. on my 2nd computer by default all 3 options are turned on. which one is the correct default setting. can you please explain 'Auto reconnect can only work when you have working reconnect' what does it mean. are the above 3 options useless unless. |

All 3 settings are enabled by default
Auto reconnect will auto disable if your setup reconnect method fails more than Settings->Advanced Settings->Reconnect.disableautoreconnectfails (10 default) times. Quote:
https://support.jdownloader.org/de/s...uery=reconnect This highly depends on your environment (does your ISP provide dynamic IP at all?) and your router/modem, hence you must setup it by yourself first

what happens if I uncheck all these 3 settings on SETTINGS > RECONNECT
1.Auto Reconnect Enabled OFF 2.Do not start downloads if others wait for a Reconnect OFF 3.Reconnects are allowed to interrupt resumable downloads OFF |

@jeonje: I don't understand the question.
When you disable auto reconnect, the 2,3 settings don't matter/are ignored, because they belong to auto reconnect.

what I meant was
- can I turn off all 3 options. (you said all 3 are turned off as default setting) - does tuning off any pros and cons. (want to avoid file corruption) which is best turn all on or off. |

@jeonje: I'm sorry but I don't understand the question, see my previous reply
https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...8&postcount=18 When you don't have setup working reconnect method by yourself first, the three options are ignored at all because no reconnect working/used at all. With first option disabled, the other options are ignored, because they only influence how auto reconnect is happening Without any manual reconnect setup by yours, it doesn't matter at all. Else you enable or disable auto reconnect.
