I have a large list of proxies added to Jdownloader under the connection manager, but when I attempt to download a file I receive "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded". The download site in this case is Mega, and I do not have an account for Mega added in settings.


Is there a setting I need to enable to make use of proxy rotation, or should it occur automatically if proxies have been set up?

1. JD will automatically do proxy rotation.

What do you mean?
If you mean the mega issue for which I've linked a ticket in my last reply:
No. As you can see the progress of that ticket is still at 0%.

Does JD use proxy when an IP limit is used up for the current IP while downloading from mega?

I've added a large list of proxies in JD2 in order to bypass the Mega IP download limit.

But it seems it's not working. Are there some extra steps to tell JD to use those proxies when the IP limit is reached?

mine keeps trying from the same proxy until I untick it from my list then it moves onto the next one ?

using dante servers I have 150 odd private IP's for 20gb blocks
its getting annoying ticking and unticking everyday as I notice quota's reached

1tb out of 7tb I needed to pull off mega servers so far


also I have noticed when ever downloads start they all use the same proxy , its not even trying to use a separate proxy per download

Because you have to change Settings->Plugins->mega.nz -> "Set preferred limit mode" to "Global wait or get new IP" else there will be no signal to try again with different connection/IP
