hi download-buddies,

since a few days i cant download from send.com anymore. i always get an error msg "unsupported api funtion". im using a free account.

Looks like you are using a send.cm "free" account.
Does that account have paid traffic on it?

Update:
Looks like your account does not contain any paid traffic thus API downloads are not possible.
I've updated the plugin so that it doesn't accept such accounts.

i dont have "paid traffic" as im using a free account but that shouldnt affect downloads according send's faq

That is right you can still download from send.cm but not with that account.
Disable it and try to download without account.

I've just released an update after which such accounts will get displayed as invalid anyways because the send.cm API does only allow API downloads for paid accounts.
Please contact the send.cm support if you need more details on this topic.

but as a registered free user you could download 30gb/day instead of 10gb/day as an unregistered user. it would be a great loss if jd couldnt handle free accounts or if i had to deactivate my account.

I'll be looking into providing a setting for such accounts but for now it is impossible to use them into JDownloader since I've updated the plugin to allow API login only and API downloads are only possible when paid traffic is available.

An update has just been released.
If you want to use send.cm free accounts (which require login via user + password), you can do this as follows:
1. Settings -> Plugins -> send.cm -> Login mode -> Website
2. Now add your account via Settings -> Account Manager -> Add -> send.cm
3. Start downloading.

I wasn't able to test downloading but it should work as long as you're not blocked by Cloudflare.
DO NOT CHANGE SAID SETTING IF YOU ARE A PREMIUM USER!
USE THE API / DEFAULT SETTING IF YOU ARE A PREMIUM USER!

Most likely local firewall/av causing the issue as the site is blocked

1:send.now/2606:4700:20:0:0:0:681a:a41|javax.net.ssl.SSLException(Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message)|retrySSL:null

Check firewall/av and other software that can do this. Also a sign that something messes with connection as domain is only resolved to IPv6 only address.

also your installation is broken
