Default Filter out the lowest-resolution versions of videos to download

Hello,

I download videos from webpages in bulk. And for each webpage from which I extract the videos, I get several version of the same video in different resolution 480p/720p/1080p in the collector (or sometimes, just 720p/480p.) I would like to know if it is possible to automatically only add the highest-resolution version in the collector? Or at least filter out the lowest-quality versions from the list?
So far, I am doing it manually, but I have thousands of videos to process, so it takes too much time.

Thank you very much.

@vmackey: please provide example links as we need to know what site/plugin we're talking about. there is no generic solution to this

Yes, I simply searched for "720p" and "480p" on windows and deleted the files in these resolution post-downloads.

@vmackey: When you can provide example links, we can check if there is an easier/automated way possible
