So I noticed there are issues in some of the new video downloads while others do not have issues. Also, using JD on a link below shows issues once then doing it again (isn't consistent) doesn't show issues it's not consistent.

File size is not known prior download to speed up link adding/checking.
You can disable this in Settings->Plugins->tiktok.com, disable fast linkcheck

Is there away to know which version of JD will address the original issue and specifically "wait for another update, just found another issue" or can this thread be updated if the issue is addressed?

also, another issue.

if you disable fast linkcheck, instead of the current date added as the prefix to the file.
1969-12-31 is added by default.
Previously the current date would be the prefix. 2022-06-14 (this was previous behavior)

and if you enable fast linkcheck there is no prefix date added.

@snuffleupagus: the tiktok fixes are already live and I could not reproduce any download issue with your example links

I will look into date issue, but it seems they have change something cause the date now often is 0 (results in 1969-12-31)

@snuffleupagus: check again with next update. issue is caused by tiktok embed website no longer provides the create time.
as an alternative you might want to enable api mode in Settings->Plugins->tiktok

@lalaupoa: all those videos don't work in browser, you will have to enable api mode in Settings->Advanced Settings->download mode to api mode
or wait for next plugin update, then JDownloader will auto try api mode
