Default How to set retry delay on network issues

Hello,
I am getting quite often network issues (with the green ! symbol) and there is 5 minutes delay before it tries again, but I would like to reduce this time.

I have tried to set GeneralSettings: Network Issues Timeout to much lower number but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Also, out of desperation, I have lowered every number with value 300000 in the advanced settings to something lower, but nothing has changed.

How can I reduce this delay?

I'm sorry but not every timeout can be changed to avoid ddos when service has issues. It's not always possible to find out if connection issue is caused locally or remote site.

It would be good to know what exactly happens so we can check why timeout happens. Please create a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here.

Thanks for the reply,

as I am sure the timeout is caused by the remote site, I will just take "it's not possible" as an answer.

I understand that the ddos may be a problem, but 5 minutes timeout is quite an overkill, especially when it happens every few seconds.

That's not what I mean Of course it's possible but I need a log to see what sort of exception happens, then I can try to help with either reduce the timeout or find a workaround/solution via eventscripter script

I'd prefer not to share my logs, as they contain information I don't want to share.

I have just modified the constant, so far so good.
