Default [Request]Download video from 'JW Player'?

Example video : **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

A lot of sites I watch now use this JW Player and my normal tools can't grab the video, would it be possible for Jdownloader to do so? Also I'm not certain how to get the link to the video itself.

This page uses chunked streaming (HLS)
On page you can find
__**External links are only visible to Support Staff** Copy the Link and JD can download the video

JW Player is a generic player, it highly depends on the website what format/streaming format it uses.

So I should just search for 'vod' in the page source? Then paste the link into Jdownloader? That doesn't sound too bad, I'll give it a try.

Its not that *easy*
open sourcecode of page, there you find
__player2.screenwavemedia.com/player.php?id=channelawesome-55c0d0f53da81
open that and the sourcecode and you will find the ip at the top and the just replace the id with the one from url.

Okay my test worked.. but this screenwave player they use now is kinda bad in quality, I can see why others complained. I compared the video downloaded direct from blip to it from screenwave, it's about 100 megs smaller at 720p, but there's noticable pixelation everynow and then. :/

I'm glad I can download from these JWPlayers now, but I wonder.. I don't suppose there's a way to essentially trace back to the original source video file uploaded to the player?
