Default Slow download speed

Since 2/26/14 for some reason my Jdownloader 2 will not down nothing faster than 8.9 Kb/s. I have an extreme fast connection and before I was able to download speed between 6MBs to 10MBs. I have being using Jdownloader forever and never this issue.

I am currently using Comcast who do not have an max download cap. And if so, my month just started and I am still not downloading faster than 8.9 kbs. Now, this has no matter if I am using my paid storage such as netload or free ones such as zippyshare which has always yield fast download result.

Know that I can go to the website directly and download whatever I am trying while using Jdownloader 2, and it will download fast using regular download manager. But as stated above, no longer the same with Jdownloader.

Anyone has experience this matter?

Check if you have not paused the downloads, and check if the downloads are not limited by the speed limit.

I solved this earlier; I had pressed pause whilst downloading today, but even after unchecking the pause button my downloads were still limited to 10KB/S. I then realised that I also had to uncheck the speed limit box found in the window that pops up when you click the settings button at the bottom right of the jdownloader window. Strange that these two places do not 'communicate' as they are the same thing. Anyway, I hope that solves the issue for you and maybe the coders could have a look at that issue. All the best.

Same thing is happening to me since a few hours ago. Downloads with other download manager is at full speed but on JD it's capped at 10-20 kbps.
