Default Extract *.cbz *.cbr file

I often read comics in *.cbz *.cbr which are just like *.zip and *.rar probably the jd unrar plugin would work I'd like to have them extracted automatically or if there's a way to rename them just after downloading before the jd unrar plugin start.. Sorry for English:)

What for? They are packed with purpose to read them using the special comic readers like ComicRack and also to make distribution easier (1 file instead of dozens)

Don't the comic readers read from these formats? If that is the case, then the files should stay in the cbr and cbz formats.

If the comic readers cannot read these formats, we have to request that these extensions be added to the Zip archive and Rar archive extension lists. To do that, we need around 10 links for each file type (for testing).

If it is added to extraction plugins it should be optional.

Excuse me I've got a problem with pc. Yes they are read by comic reader but I really often use an old laptop which cannot run these program fast enough.I think it should be optional too. Where should I put the links to these files? Here or PM? I will read the faq now and then post the links...

I know it's an old thread, but I would also like for Extractor to unpack cbr/cbz/cb7 files. You could add additional editbox in options where user would type in additional extensions that extractor would try to extract (instead of using just checkbox titled "extract comic book archive formats").
PS. don't suggest using reading app, etc.

Hmm I see the benefit of adding unsupported extensions to the list of extraction extensions but I don't see the need for extra settings to enable/disable specific supported extensions - you can already do this using a Packagizer rule.
