Default Problem with mega links as mirror

I found a problem with mega links when used as a mirror

i have the same file in both mega and openload links downloading at the same time (openload to get around the bandwidth limit of mega)

but when i stopped an openload link and started the downloads again instead of continuing the openload link it started a new download with the mega link.

possibly because mega links end with ".encrypted.part" instead of just ".part"

Mega files are encrypted vs openload are not. You cannot resume files from mega because the decryption happens AFTER the download. That's why the .encrypted is there to tell the difference.

yes i know you can't resume the files

the problem is that instead of marking it as a mirror it and not starting it, it started to download the file again.

Can you send me some example links (xy+mega) to support@jdownloader.org. I will try to find a better solution for this. At the moment for JDownloader mirrors should be interchangeable. In case of mega that is not the case but maybe I can find a better solution for this.

any idea when this will get fixed?

also i didn't really mean for you guys to add on the fly decrpytion, just to make it so jdownloader recognized that it was a mirror. (ignoring the .encrypted part of the filename)

The ticket is about some optimization, not really a bug.
The current download core does not support what is required for *on the fly decryption* and therefore this ticket will have to wait until the next download core is ready.
Until then you can either download from multihoster OR from mega. the plugin will make sure not to *mix*

yes i know but like i said i'm not asking for on the fly decryption, just for jdownloader to ignore that part of the filename and recognize its a mirror.

@Tyler: sorry for late response. Could you please provide example links? Also check what settings you've set in
Settings-Advanced Settings
GeneralSettings.mirrordetectiondecision
GeneralSettings.forcemirrordetectionfilesizecheck
