Default Create separate package for each link

I download regularly from a forum that posts imagesets. Currently, I can add the link for a thread and JD2 can parse all images within that thread to a package.

I wanna know if there is a way to add multiple links, each for a different thread, and have JD2 parse images from each thread to a separate package automatically, with the thread title as the package name.

Hi,
1. Thread title as package name will only be possible if:
- You're adding those links via a browser extension that knows, and sets the page-title
or:
- The title of that forum thread is inside the forum url e.g. myforum.abc/thread/123456/title-is-here and you can use that via LinkCrawler Rule
or:
- See raztokis response

2. Putting all items from the same source into the same package should easily be possible using our Packagizer feature.

if you want the html title tag you will need to use a linkcrawler rule as it can scan / find that.

Thanks guys. I'll look through the linkcrawler and packagizer articles and get back to you.

@lezboyd: In case you can provide real example links, then we can provide better help/hints

SO far so good. I found this knowledgebase article and it helped quite a bit.

https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...ame-via-anchor

I made an excel sheet with some formulas, to take the URL as input and give me a modified URL with the anchor as output.

But the issue is that I am dependent on the URL instead of the HTML Title. I would still like to add the html title instead of the URL because the URL is not always reliable. I will look into the linkcrawler rules next and see if I can make some headway.

With the html part, we can only help/look into it if you provide example URLs.

@lezboyd: In case you need to access html part, you will either have to use
1.) Linkcrawler rules, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...kcrawler-rules
or
2.) Write Script for Eventscripter that does what you want

But without example links we cannot provide further help

So if i want to batch grab links for every chapter in the linkgrabber
If i have f.e. a link like this:

url.url/comic/name/chapter-1

I added a rule:

source url: *#chapter-=*
&
download directory: D:\Comic\name\<jd:source:2>

(files are pictures png webp jpg but not that important)

But that does not work. I know i suck at this. So i ask you what i did wrong?

@nowhereman1945: your sourceURL condition is wrong because you tell JDownloader to look for #chapter within the URL but your dummy example link doesn't contain it. try

source url: */chapter-*
