Default Export download list?

I have to format my PC and I need the list of un-started downloads. Can I save them all in a file and import them when I install JD later on, instead of creating a .dlc for each download group?

Just backup your complete cfg folder within your JDownloader folder. It contains all settings/lists/accounts.
Later just restore/overwrite the existing cfg with your backup.

delete all downloaded stuff? copy the respective downloadlist.zip from cfg/
else
use filter, 'pending downloads', create dlc from context menu

@raztoki

thanks for the response. But what I was looking for was the ability to export the download list so I can sort and manipulate the listing of files underneath each directory.

The dlc file doesn't seem to open to a directory listing of the downloads via a text editor.

I can copy and paste one line item at a time but that would take forever.

thanks.

@snuffleupagus
those are the current options, they are not really what you want
one is in json, the other is download container (dlc) which is encoded container.
there is no option / feature todo what you want

You can export any data from the list to a text file using eventscripter.

To quickly view/sort the list by the download folder in JD, enable the "Save to" column.

think he wants to re-add them in the manipulated order, so I thought the eventscripter wouldnt be a solution. But if I have misunderstood yes could be viable solution assuming entries are not from containers.

@mgpai

Sorry i'm fairly new to jdownloader. How would you create an export of data script?

@raztoki
No i think i'll just search for the items in the list and start the download for them.

You can install/enable the Eventscripter extension and use a script (Javascript language) to export information from the links to a text file.

Alternatively, you can add/configure "Copy Information" item in your context menu and use it to copy the information to the clipboard and then paste it into a file.
