Default Jdownloader extracts corrupt files

Hello, since installing JDownloader 2 (almost 6 months now), I've noticed that every .rar file that has been downloaded has been "corrupt", not that Winrar will complain, instead it's after it's been extracted said file will be impossible to execute or use with other programs or if I'm lucky it will work if I extract the file to the RARTEMP folder.

There are no known issues or similiar reports. What exactly is the problem? Where do you download from? Does the download pass hash check (given that the host provides hash information) Does extraction fail? Sounds more like hardware/firewall/av issue. JDownloader uses original rar to extract and in case some error occured or hash failed then JDownloader would have aborted. So my guess is memory / disk failure.

I've tried both filejoker and depfile, as far as I know the hash check is valid (since it does not stop the download or give any errors) and the rar files extract without a problem it's the actual content that is corrupt (unless you let winrar extract it to the RARTEMP folder and it's a program being executed).

The only thing that might be seen as a red flag is that the file sizes of the .rar files are larger than what depfile/filejoker

Can you please provide example links. JDownloader does not report any error after download and no error after extraction = sounds like the archives are broken from the beginning or serious hardware issues

Hmm, both worked perfectly fine for me.
Did you compare JD extraction vs Winrar extraction?
For me there is no difference

I can offer a teamviewer session so we can check this together. It takes long time to test as I don't have premium on those hosts

That's odd, but sure I would be glad to do that.
