Default After updates

Everytime, after updates, I'm forced to shut down jdownloader forcefully or it won't restart via task manager. Is this a bug to me only or does other face the same problem?

move your jd to c:\jdownloader
be sure you have ALL rights for the folder (rightclick, security and give everyone FULL RIGHTS<<--- important)
also be sure no write protection on folder

and please add java.exe and javaw.exe to your firewalls/viruscscanner exclude list

Am I restricted to C Drive only? The new updates today still caused the same problem. Last time I don't have such problem.

I've done the following:

*Full permission for all vista users
*Bypass for jawaw.exe, java.exe and jdownloader.exe under Kaspersky.

no you are not limited
did you start jdupdate.jar after changing rights?

do you have kaspersky?
if so please add
*jdownloader.org*
to whitelist of settings-content filtering

I did the update when I launched Jdownloader, which in most cases, they prompt whether I would like to update. I clicked Okay.

I added jdownloader.org to the whitelist, but everything seems the same. Also, no I did not start jdupdate.jar after changing rights.

I have the same problem. I have to use the windows task manager to terminate the java processes. Does JD restart when you do File -> Restart. That doesn't work for me either.

I know it will update, but it won't do the automatic restart, which means there is something wrong right?
