Hello.
It has been killing for 2 months with the problem of download speed through the myjdownloader plugin installed on my qnap ts-451. It used to work well once and it's not like that anymore.
I have several premium accounts purchased. Among others on uploaded.to or rapidu.net. When I download something on my computer from these accounts, the transfer is at a maximum speed of about 72MB / s with me. When I add these links to myyjdownloader on my qnap, the download speed is about half of the transfer, i.e. within 30MB / s. It used to work fine and now it works half well.
I noticed such a strange thing.
There are various types of internet speed testing websites on the internet where you can do a test by downloading a test file. Here are 2 examples:
ftp.task.gda.pl/test/10giga
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**ftp://ftp.atman.pl/test5gb
If I put these links in myyjdownloader on my qnap, the transfer is full, i.e. 72MB / s. So it is able to download myyjdownloader files on my qnap at maximum speed.
I don't understand why he can't do this with other hosting plans on which I have premium accounts.
I also remember that about two months ago it worked well.

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Dies legt u.a. folgende Datei an:
/etc/init.d/entware.sh

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/JDownloader2/JDownloader2.sh

Wichtig: Es muss der (permanente) Speicherort sein. In
/etc/init.d

Code:
PackageCheck(){ #Does /opt exist? if not check if it's optware that's installed or opkg, and start the package
  /bin/echo -n " Checking for installed package..."
  if [ -x /opt/bin/ipkg ]; then #if optware
      /opt/bin/ipkg update
/opt/bin/ipkg install grep sed procps bc bash coreutils
      sleep 2
      /bin/echo " Done!"
  elif [ -x /etc/init.d/Entware-ng.sh ]; then #if Entware-ng
      /opt/bin/opkg update
      /opt/bin/opkg install grep sed procps-ng procps-ng-w bc bash coreutils coreutils-cat coreutils-tail coreutils-ln coreutils-mkdir
      sleep 2
      /bin/echo " Done!"
  elif [ -x /etc/init.d/Entware.sh ]; then #if Entware (new)
      /opt/bin/opkg update
      /opt/bin/opkg install grep sed procps-ng procps-ng-w bc bash coreutils coreutils-cat coreutils-tail coreutils-ln coreutils-mkdir
      sleep 2
      /bin/echo " Done!"
  else #catch all
/bin/echo " No Optware or Opkg or Entware-ng or Entware (new) found, please install one of them"
/sbin/write_log "I can't install required package, it's depend from Optware or Opkg or Entware-ng or Entware (new). Please re-install one of those packages" 1
      exit 1
  fi
  }

CheckForOpt(){ #Does /opt exist? if not check if it's optware that's installed or opkg, and start the package
  /bin/echo -n " Checking for /opt..."
  if [ ! -d /opt/bin ]; then
    if [ -x /etc/init.d/Optware.sh ]; then #if optware ,start optware
      /bin/echo " Starting Optware..."
      /etc/init.d/Optware.sh start
      sleep 2
    elif [ -x /etc/init.d/opkg.sh ]; then #if opkg, start opkg
      /bin/echo " Starting Opkg..."
      /etc/init.d/opkg.sh start
      sleep 2
    elif [ -x /etc/init.d/Entware-ng.sh ]; then #if Entware-ng, start Entware-ng
      /bin/echo " Starting Entware-ng..."
      /etc/init.d/Entware-ng.sh start
      sleep 2
    elif [ -x /etc/init.d/Entware.sh ]; then #if Entware (new), start Entware
      /bin/echo " Starting Entware..."
      /etc/init.d/Entware.sh start
      sleep 2
    else #catch all
/bin/echo " No Optware or Opkg or Entware-ng or Entware (new) found, please install one of them"
/sbin/write_log "Failed to start $QPKG_NAME, no Optware or Opkg or Entware-ng or Entware (new) found. Please re-install one of those packages" 1
      exit 1
    fi
  else
    /bin/echo " Found!"
  fi
  }

@tt_1111

Recently I cannot download using my real internet speed.
It is like the download speed is capped to 2MB/s.
My internet speed is 10MB/s.

Used to be normal for years.
Is this something that is going to be fixed?

Default Download speed unable to go past 2.5MB/s

Recently I cannot download using my real internet speed.
I am downloading files from rapidgator.net
It is like the download speed is capped to 2.5MB/s.

My internet speed is 10MB/s.
I have tried to download the same file using IDM, and I can get max speed no problem.

I am using Jdownloader installed in my QNAP.

1. Seems like you are using some kind of Hotspot according to your log - could this be the issue? Is that Hotspot maybe speed-limited or have you been using that before?
2. Please post a new log, recorded while rapidgator downloads are running.
Also check the CPU usage of your NAS - is it very high while downloads are running?
3. Please do a test-download of this 1GB http URL and let me know if you are haing the same downloadspeed:

1. I have a hotspot system at home. However my PC and NAS doing the download is bypassed from the hotspot. Using the same PC and IDM to download the same exact file from rapidgator, I can get full max speed which is 10MB/s. Where I can only get 2-3MB/s from Jdownloader/QNAP from the same internet, PC, and NAS connections. Note that this only happened RECENTLY within these 2 months. I saw someone on QNAP thread also complaining the same exact issue. I have been using the same system config for years and there was no problem with download speed from Jdownloader previously.

2. log while rapidgator downloads are running:
I need support! This is my log id: jdlog://9012325302851
CPU usage of my NAS is not high while running. This download speed problem only happened recently and it is only specific to Jdownloader.

3. speed test using JdownloaderQNAP: (slow result)
slow.png
range of speed 0,3 to 1MB/s while my internet speed is 10MB/s

speed test using IDM:

Still looks like a configuration issue.
Test again via:
speed.hetzner.de

Looks like an issue on your NAS.

I have re-tested download file from speed.hetzner.de
I attached 3 file:
- hetzner-JD
- hetzner-JD2
- hetzner-IDM

it is clearly showing that at the same exact time, same exact PC, same exact file downloaded, the speed difference between downloading using JD2 vs IDM is very significant.

In case you forget, I will remind you, that my PC/NAS/Internet configuration hasn't changed for the last 2 years. And I have been using JD2 for longer than that. So I know exactly that this download speed problem is only happening recently. There was no problem before. No hardware changes on my side.

Did you use the same connection settings in JD thatr you got in JD e.g. max. downloads = 1 and max.connections per file = 1?
IDM might have higher default settings than JD.
... just to make sure that your comparison is meaningful.

Please contact us again via support@jdownloader.org and be ready for a Teamviewer live session.

I never changed basic settings from both JD and IDM. I just use the default config.
Nevertheless, here I attach screen capture of settings from both app for you to make a comparison.

Would increasing 'Max simultaneous downloads' from 4 to 8, and 'Max simultaneous downloads per hoster' from 1 to 8, = increased max download speed ?

As I said before, JD used to have no download speed limit issues like I have at the moment. It used to be both JD and IDM both have the same max download speed adjusting to the max bandwidth provided by my ISP.

Should I contact you further from email?

Hi, this might be a stupid question but I had to change my password of my.jdownloader.org. So now my headless installation does not work anymore.

How would I get back to this step where I can add my new password:

Code:
| Please Enter your MyJDownloader Email:
***************
| Please Enter your MyJDownloader Password:
***************
Thank you

@felsi: Close JDownloader and start it manually via ssh, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...bedded-devices
in case the logins are invalid, JDownloader will ask again for logins

opt/QJDK8/bin/java: No such file or directory

Vielleicht nochmal alles deinstallieren (inkl.

@tarkett

@Schtallone

@psp

/opt/QJDK8/bin/java: No such file or directory

Gruß
