HA!! I just installed their JOKE of a download manager and you CAN'T!!!I
It keeps redirecting you back to the homepage to sign in with a captcha and is still doesn't work. I really do like fileserve, but they screwed this one up. |

At lest you can log into their main site, i cant even do that. Which means ultimately i cannot even contact them, even change password does not work (cos i thought maybe i got hacked).
Very frustrated, Luckily i only paid for 6 months worth s and was due to run out and of may. Perhaps ill join filesonic? |

The IWF censorship Mafia might be the cause that you can't reach them. Where are you from?

Tell them they should extend it for at least 2 days for free, that's just fair!

I'm having a problem with FileServe plugin reporting a file as being online but when I tried to access file - it says FILE REMOVED.
Here is one example: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** When LINKGRABBER tests the link - it shows as being ONLINE. When Jdownloader attempts to further access the file, it shows as FILE REMOVED. What's going on? |

@wildman
EVER thought about accessing the link via browser? It's displayed as "online" because of an old FILESERVE linkchecker bug, fileserve has to fix it, this is not our problem! Amazing, their bug now exists over a 3/4 year... GreeZ pspzockerscene

@Jiaz ![]() I'm using windows7 firewall & McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7i as AV. I already set to allow all pass for Jdownloader to both software. [even I turn off all firewalls(windows, ADSL modem) & AV. problem still occur] ![]() JD alway say "Server does not support chunkload" its happen after connection reset which alway happen in period on my internet connection (I'm using ADSL connection) you will notice my parallel connection set to 1 if set >1 JD won't start download at all. And, It happen on every link of fileserve & filesonic Any suggestion? |

@remi
It happens when using multiple connections (but not always). To solve it Jiaz has to add errorhandling for chunkerrors for those hosts. GreeZ pspzockerscene

Currently, I can start download immediately with all my browsers [ie 8.0.7601.17514, FF 3.6.16, Chrome 11.0.696.60beta all run on Windows7 Home Premium 64bits] but none of them can resume paused download file. About before couple weeks ago fileserve work fine with any download method this just start getting weird for last 2 weeks 'til now. FYI I'm located in Thailand. Just a bit of an update to the original post and subsequent error with fileserve, i finally got a reply back from there tech and this is what they had to say...
The problem might be encounter every now and then but won’t stay like this for long. IWF(Internet Watch Foundation) for UK is being very thorough in filtering Fileserve user. All UK users are bound in 1 IP and users are only will have these kind of errors and issues if any chance they have input their login credentials 5 consecutive tries. Please be reminded that it is not our will to have our UK users suffer from this, our Tech team are now looking into possible solution in getting around this IWF issue. Until we figure out a possible solution, it is wise to do the cache cleaning every now and then and trying a different browser. If you happen to have a download manager, register your Fileserve premium account so that you won’t need to enter your details for every download you do. Your patience and understanding regarding this issue will be highly appreciated. |

I have fileserve premium account. But I can't use it in JDownloader. Every time I set the username and password, it shows ServerError, will retry later. I've used another premium account before in the same computer. That time I had no problem. But now I'm having this problem, I can't use premium account in JD. While I can use premium account through my browsers and other download managers. My JD is updated to the latest release and my JAVA is also latest. I'm quite sure my username and password is OK. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

The last few days Fileserve (premium) has been really bad for me, I'm getting connection lost errors, Hoster problem? errors, slow speed and the downloads are stopping and starting. Fileserve has never been that great for me but it's never been this bad. I'm using the latest IDM.

I'm having several problems with Fileserve premium:
- Sometimes it forgets I have premium and I have to refresh it, then close IDM for it to work. - I'm getting loads of hoster problem? errors and connection lost errors. - Slow speeds (about 1.3mb/s when I should get 1.7mb/s). - Sporadic speed, it constantly goes up and down, mostly down. It's got really bad over the last few days. |

try to set max connections to 1 and do not use resume when your isp is filtered with iwf list.
iwf is fuxxing up fileserve and many other hosters...
