I have two PCs, one laptop and a desktop, jownloader2 is installed on both computers. since I am giving my laptop to my brother, i want to move Downloads and LinkGrabber links from my laptop to my desktop, my desktop too has a lot of Downloads and LinkGrabber links. How do i add those links from my laptop to my desktop without replacing/removing the links that are already present in my desktop?

In short: you can either just copy/move your complete JDownloader installation or just the complete cfg folder.

You can drag/drop or addcontainer/import the downloadListXXX.zip or linkcollectorXXX.zip file from cfg folder.
