Exclamation Linkgrabber does not grab or check links.

Linkgrabber just stopped working. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, reinstalling in a different folder.

ONE. Linkgrabber does not grab links in my clipboard. It is a fresh install and there is a tick on the clipboard icon.

So I tried to manually add the url.

TWO. Then the message Linkgrabber operations are pending. However at the end of it, the Status (under the right most column) of the file remains as "not checked".

I then tried to proceed with download. The file was moved into the Download folder but the download did not start..

Don't know what is wrong. So frustrated. Please help


Linkgrabber is the latest version 0.9.581.
Using Windows 7 Pro. Have AVG free anti-virus and Zonealarm free, so they don't conflict with each other. JDownloader worked fine with this setup for 2 months and then Linkgrabber just stopped working all of a sudden, when I was in the middle of copying a few files. Now it just doesn't work..

Depends on the links...

Check "Start after adding" in Linkgrabber pane.

I'm talking about Linkgrabber. Not starting the download.

Start after adding is ticked as well. I just said it was a fresh install.

The answer is still the same, depends on the links (and your AV/FW).

how about a logfile and some example links which do not work?
as nothing changed on our site, the changes must be on yours (firewall/Av update..)

Most problems with jD are caused by viruses and to a lesser degree by firewall software.

If you can download the files with your browser something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.
