Re-Start JD twice to get the new plugin and make it active.

ISA 2006, HTTPS is allowed and downloading from browser with proxy (using HTTP or HTTPS) works fine.
After testing it seems HTTPS speed is about 2x times faster than when using HTTP protocol.

can you try without proxy?
we currently have a bug in proxy http usage that's not easy to workaround.

No, the proxy is enforced by ISP.
Iif the problem was in the proxy then shouldn't I have the same problem with the other hosts?

The same problem is present even when attempting to download a file as free user ...

P.S. Shouldn't the [solved] tag be removed from the topics title?

Sorry but eater I'm stupid or you are lying to us ...

1) If the problem is in the proxy code/module of JD how come I only have problems downloading from rapidshare and not any other hosting site?
2) Why did the problem appear wast week (Friday if I remember correctly) right after I updated to the latest version? And I was downloading from rapidshare without a problem until the update.
3) Why do the logs display a response from rapidshare and yet the plugin returns a Null Pointer error?

P.S. Don't forget that my proxy server is enforced by my ISP (unless I use the proxy server I don't have access to the net). And that the problem is there even when I use it as free user (rapidshare forces free users to HTTP connection even if they enter the site from an HTTPS one).

P.P.S. No offense intended.

In other words you are currently having issues with SSL requests true proxy servers?
Is this limited to normal proxy servers or it affects socks proxy's too?

P.S. 10z for the clarification about the problems origin.

Your post doesn't contain all the information we need.
Helping you is easier for us if you read the rules before posting and follow them so we have all information we need to help.
Information which could be missing are for example: Log & Example Links (the links you tried to download with JD).

Hey there, just wanted to say that I was having the same problem (all RS downloads said plugin out of date). Mi solution was re-check my java version, turns out my version was outdated (the weird thing is that it didn't auto-update), so I had to go to the java website itself and download it mannually.
I put the link here so you can go easily.
http://www.java.com/en/download/
Greetings.

Not only premium users, but also free users on rapidshare don't work.
You wrote that the solution will be included in nightly version - how to download the nightly version, because I can't find any link on the JD website to this version?
How soon after nightly will the solution be included in stable version?

Not only premium - free user also doesn't work.

If you aren't able to work without a proxy, you'll need to switch to the Nightly test branch version of jD for downloading from RS. You don't need to download anything.

For instructions, please read "What is Nightly and Where do I Get it?".

I use two instances of jdownloader running on the same computer at the same time, one with proxy, one without. Both are RS free users. The proxyless one works like a charm, the proxy-ed one shows "plug in error - out of date" with RS but can download from megaupload and freakshare without any problem.

Just for your information.

Thanks for the great work with jdownloader by the way. It's magical. I never want to use other downloaders again.
