Default vimeo.com: Is there is a way to set a fixed referer?

Hello. I have to process hundreds of vimeo links manually and it would really help if i could reduce some of the repeating steps.

More specifically this popup here:

I know the referer url to process the link, and it's the same for all the links i want to process. However i don't see any way to set that under the plug-in options to have JD2 process it automatically instead of asking me for EVERY. SINGLE. LINK.

Not only that everytime it popup's with this i lose focus of the window which causes more time to be wasted.

I would be really grateful if you can provide me with a solution.

Kind regards

Hi,
Yes.
Option 1:
Copy the URLs in context of the referer required, then it will be auto tried/set.
(Only works when adding URLs via clipboard observation to JD.)

Option 2:
Append "forced_referer=" + base64 encoded Referer (URL to the main page of the Referer-Website is usually enough.

Example referer:
https://jdownloader.org/
--> Use any (online-) tool you want to do the encoding e.g. "base64encode.net"
--> aHR0cHM6Ly9qZG93bmxvYWRlci5vcmcv
Append that to your URL e.g.:
Code:
player.vimeo.com/external/123456?forced_referer=aHR0cHM6Ly9qZG93bmxvYWRlci5vcmcv
Now JD will first try that referer.

Thanks, in the end i went with the 2nd option before you replied (i found about in another thread). I have a modified chrome addon, i right click on the embedded vimeo video inside an iframe, and with one click it gets the video url and adds the referer base64 string to the end. Works beautifully.

But i suggest that you add this option inside jd too

Thanks for your feedback.

I do not think that such an option is required because as said, we're already auto-trying a Referer if you copy such URLs in the required browser-context.

It might also be possible to send them to JD (including referer) using our myjdownloader browser addon though I haven't tested that.

I assume its possible, if it is... it wouldn't be hard to do it via the event scripter without too much trouble.
