It may be, and appears also to be a French word, but in this context, it's not the right word to have there.

You want users to tell others about the program,
that means you want them to Advertise on other sites, non-European sites.

In French it's spelled 'adversité' and it means 'adversity'. It's not a verb.

I think adversiting is a new word. Let's wait for lelim's reaction. Also raztoki is an expert in these matters. He's using words like 'solvered'.

Ok, I have gotten this error about 3 times so far,
at the time I got the error, CBH and my IRC Client were the only apps running, and IRC was only idling.
I checked my connection and everything seems fine.

Just pointing that out because the message appears to be connection related.

I'm web developper, I suggest you some amazing features for Brotherhood anticaptcha software :

First add a tab to display the rules like :
- You solve a captcha successfuly : 8 points
- You reply wrong to a captcha : -4 points
- captcha as been resolve for you : -10 points

2ndly, you can add some funny rules to engage user to use the anticaptcha in night time or give points to user who resolve captchas for a long time or with good success. It will give a "game" aspect to the software and encourage users too resolve mor captcha at the better hour of the day (hour when there are few people awaken) :
- "ComboBonus" (ex: +10 points) for the 10th resolved captcha (with or without error).
- "SuccessCombo" (ex: +20 points) when 10 captcha are resolved without errors.
- "FastCombo" (ex: +30 points) when 10 captcha has been resolved in less than a minute (will work only when captcha are displayed fast : in the night)

I think it will transform the software like a game. People will try to get combos and then resolve more captcha.

If you want to push the button more, you can add an other panel "High record" with the best month "player" and their scores

What do you think about it ?

I also had something in mind like that but was too lazy to put it out in text. Very nice idea

I just came back to my computer to find a download saying, "Too many wrong captcha attempts!", and 100s of my credits were used up. Frustrating. Is this because people keep guessing wrong for me? Or is there no one available to solve my captchas? I feel like I shouldn't lose credits because of this.

One question: My jdonwloader is not installed on the default folder (not in program files) any problem with that (maybe the installer droped some files on the wrong folder)

I installed the captcha sofware and it works properly. The problem is that when I launch it, a msiexec process starts a few instants later consuming all the cpu power. When I quit captchasolver the msiexec process stops as well. I tried to kill the msiexec process and captchasolver continues to work. What the msiexec does is reading a msp file in windows/installer folder. The file is 466 MB, Title:855, Subject: Visual Studio .Net.
I'm using Windows XP sp3

Seems to work ok so far and starting to like it already.

I guess it is either JD or Brotherhood that do not reckognise that particular site in some way.

edit the jacinfo.xml file inside jdownloader/jd/captcha/methods/captchabrotherhood, might be named differently (I'm not using cbh) and place in domains of unsupported websites. crocko is easyshare but with a new name.

Yes I know what msiexec is. The point is that what the program does is suspicious, and since I have not received any explanation by the developers I will delete it.

i don't know any reason for my system to start msiexec each time you start CBH. you may try to uninstall and reinstall CBH. if that doesn't solve problem, you may have a corrupted installation of windows installer software. i don't know what to do if thats the case :(

this answer is also for all users nowadays having problems with their uncompleted downloads and credits.

most probably you are downloading from fileserve. JD and fileserve having issues with their relation these days, fileserve doesnt seem to let jd start a fileserve download. please dont use fileserve with CBH until they get ok again

First off, I would just like to say this program is amazing and it has made my life 100x easier. I just thought I'd register to also tell you that it's possible, at least for me, to earn points by typing in anything I want. I tested it on 5 captchas in a row and got points regardless. Although, I don't use this info for evil and do the right thing. Am I the only one this happens to or is it a bug?

If you're writing about reCaptchas then only the generated control string (currently it has a wave line wave line) needs to be guessed more or less correctly. It always is a non-existing word. The other blob is a scanned word and as the Gogol Mafia doesn't know it themselves, it can't be checked

I know how to edit jacinfo.xml, I meant that it doesnt work after adding it in jacinfo.xml. It just behaves strange, it keeps poping up different captchas and countdowns a seconds over and over and doesnt start downloading. That crocko.com from post#340 has the similar strange behaviour (after adding it in *.xml), the captcha from crocko is not being sent to CBH, but pops up internally in JD although it is on the jacinfo.xml list. There is nothing wrong with JD itself I think, because both servers (hellshare and crocko) work with captchatrader that has very similar *.xml. I wouldnt report any CBH fault here without previous trying in captchatrader.

I see only one reason why it might not work. It might have been referred to in another jacinfo file that takes precedence over the CBH jacinfo file. That doesn't explain why the crocko thing doesn't work because I think that's a new host name. I'm just too tired to think about any other cause...

Thanks, I will use captchatrader for these two and maybe others that wont work with CBH. I hope that it will be fixed in the future, because i dont like using both services at once and i dont like the CT at all :-)

Does Captcha Brotherhood work with the nightly builds of JDownloader? CaptchaTrader only works with the official releases of JDownloader, so I'm going to switch to Captcha Brotherhood if it does work with the nightly builds.

As of today CBH Solver can't log in to server. I quote the error: "Exception in getconfig. Unable to connect to remote server at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at captchaSolver.frmCaptchaSolver.getConfig()"
I'm also unable to use the plugin for my downloads (similar error message appears).

now it works.

Too often captchatrader has server problems but it has api in several languages. I'm actually using java API.

Is this all correct, anything else I have to set, any other files?

please check if jdownloader puts a file named input.jpg which contains JD captcha image. if that exists, please email me your log files. if it doesnt exist, there is a problem with jd and cbh.
