Skipped - Account Missing - wrong
Every now and then JD2 gets messed up into thinking that the account is missing, even though the account symbol in the lower left corner has no indication there is anything wrong.
Log: 29.01.14 15.57.00to29.01.14 15.57.20 jdlog://9959234130931/ Then I tried to do a restart to clear the problem, only to have JD2 hang rebuilding the plugin cache. I had to kill -9 the process and start from scratch. But that didn't clear it. JD2 still thinks the account is missing. I had to do yet another reset to clear out the plugin missing issue. |

I couldn't see any issues with messing up other than the download when chunking gets socket closed.

No idea why the log didn't supply the info about it complaining about no account. Plain as day on the screen. It is why the download didn't finish and why it wouldn't start another one.
Is there a log level that needs to be set in order to capture that info? |

I haven't downloaded from rapidgator.net for a day or two, but when I tried within the last hour with JDownloader2 BETA it keeps giving me "Skipped - Account is missing"
This cannot be valid because reverting to JDownloader1 (0.9.581 to be accurate) with the Rapidgator account -- not due to expire until near the end of March 2014 -- I was able to successfully download exactly the same file. I have been presented with quite a few JD2 updates during the last few days, all of which I installed. Could one of them have messed up the plug-in (or whatever it is) for Rapidgator? ... By the way, what is the "reset" that MrVideo referred to above? |

Nothing was done to my UL account during all of this. It is there and active. JD2 just gets into a state where it thinks it isn't there. |

@MrVideo, it's probably a good idea to keep JD1 installed too, as I have found, so that if JD2 misbehaves you can try the failing download with JD1 and see if that succeeds. ... At the moment, this is the only thing enabling me to get files from Rapidgator. ... It's all rather inscrutable for the average JD user like me. HELP!

In the advanced settings, enable the setting "LOG: Debug mode". Restart JD2, reproduce the problem, and provide a new log.

Hey, I really should have tried this earlier, but removed my Rapidgator account from JD2 then, after adding the account back to JD2, the downloads started (no longer showed the "Account missing" task message).
What sort of situation would cause this, please don't fob it off by claiming "corruption" which is too simplistic an explanation! |

I set it over a week ago. So all log postings have been with it already set.

I had to go to JD2 to get it work at all. JD1 is just not viable for me.

When JD can't validate the account, download is continued as free user, links that need premium account will fail with that message.

There are two situations that have occurred. One is the title of this thread. When the error occurs, there is no error indication with the account. All shows as being well. So, why is JD2 thinking that something is wrong with the account, when the plugin status is green. The only way I know of, at this point in time, is to restart JD2. That clears the error and I can then continue with the downloads. What I don't understand is why JD2 is saying that the account is missing, when it obviously isn't. The other error is that the plugin status turns red, i.e., there is an error. No idea what the error is. In this case, I go to the plugin settings tab, right-click on the account and do a refresh. At that point the account will turn green and I can continue with the downloads. With the lousy DSL that I have, there appear to be timeout issues with packet transmissions. Maybe JD2 is not being tolerant enough regarding that and doesn't attempt to do what it was doing, again. Guess on my part. |

But I agree that improvement in account management is expected, especially for users with bad internet connection. I guess if JD can keep the cookie alive, no need to validate the account frequently.

You stated what happens as a result, which was obvious, but not why JD2 is having issues. I suppose that would have to be answered by a developer who knows plugins.

Hi
This ticket is about the account controlling but. At least parts of it should already be fixed/improved by now. EDIT This ticket is NOT only about what it says in its title!! GreeZ psp

Thanks for the update. As the resent entries are in German, I have no idea what was entered into the database.
I'm currently at core 24114 and see that there is another update available, which I will fetch after the two downloads I have going complete, or fail. The issue is still there as a download got 97.57% done and then went into the captcha required mode. It is now in a Wait 00s and ignores a force download start. More than likely I will have to reset it and start the 999 MiB download over. It is acting like the "Temporarily unavailable" issues I've had. That said, at the moment, I'm getting less account issues. Don't know if it is because of plugin improvements, or a better connection to the UL server, or both. UPDATE: Figures, right after I posted the above and went back to the screen to check on the downloads, JD2 crapped on itself. One of the two downloads is now flagged as "Skipped - account missing." Sure enough, the UL icon at the bottom of the screen has a red/white minus. On the account manage page, the UL account is marked in red with a plugin status of error. I did a right-click->refresh to fix this. I then cleared the skip and forced a download start, at which point the download continued from where it left off. I wasn't looking at the time it happened, but I suspect it occurs when the connection is dropped and JD2 tries to restart and then gets into the plugin issues. Go in the chat tomorrow and show this to coalado.
As said, I have no idea how the "DOWNLOAD_INCOMPLETE" errors happen and what they can cause. Your log also contains A LOT of timeouts but that shouldn't be the problem...or it is, in case the above mentioned ticket controlling bug is still completely existant. GreeZ psp

It just happened again.
04.02.14 22.58.08to05.02.14 09.52.15 jdlog://9945334130931/ I'll try the chat, but it froze on me last time. UPDATE: Restarted JD2 and updated to the latest version. The download that was giving me the Wait 00s issue was cleared of that message, but when I tried to force a download start, it came back "Temporarily unavailable" with 95.57% of the 999 MiB completed. The means a clear the file and start over. Here is the log. 05.02.14 20.55.22to05.02.14 20.56.58 jdlog://3765334130931/ Last edited by MrVideo; 06.02.2014 at 04:55. |

As said, I cannot help with that.
You don't have to use the chat in JD, you can also use the chat over the link in my signature - it is exactly the same chat with the same users in it! GreeZ psp
